What are the pre-existing stem cells in our bodies?WhatsApp Image 2024 09 27 at 10.51.42 AM

The human body is composed of specialized somatic stem cells with pre-programmed functions. These stem cells can only replicate and reproduce into their designated cell type, lacking the ability to become other types of cells. Pre-existing Stem cells designed for a specific organ can only duplicate themselves into that same organ, replicating any damaged information. Cell reproduction, development, and specialization naturally slow down as humans age, contributing to overall aging.

How do stem cell treatments work?

Stem cell treatments consist of introducing pluripotent cells(PCS), also known as “blank cells,” due to their ability to be programmed in the laboratory to correct pre-existing defects in the patient’s stem cells or gradually replace stem cells that are detected as deficient in their programming and reproduce in localized areas where they are required.

Stem cell treatments introduce young, healthy, blank pluripotent stem cells into patients. These healthy stem cells travel through the patient’s system, send alerts of deficiencies, and provide genetic support to replace the naturally aging pre-existing stem cells with which we are born. These pluripotent stem cells are “blank cells” with two primarily used varieties of stem cell treatments; they contain the genetic memory to identify the necessary cell type required for replacement.

In Mexico, there are two primary types of stem cell treatments: stem cell shots and intravenous stem cell treatments. In both cases, the primary goal is to introduce pluripotent stem cells to repair injured, dead, or genetically damaged tissue in our patients, replacing it with young, new adult stem cells that can reproduce without genetic errors, resulting in overall cell rejuvenation treatments.

Stem cell shots are applied directly to damaged joints to repair and alleviate prevailing damage to tissues and joints. Intravenous stem cell treatments have the potential to travel to different organs at all three levels of the body to repair and replace damaged cells.

In both cases, our patients undergo strict medical control, COFEPRIS guidelines, and follow-up before their procedure. Our facilities are also equipped to conduct relevant medical studies and provide follow-up. These adult stem cells and after the stem cell treatment.

Stem cells in the US are regulated and required to have FDA approval. The only FDA-approved stem cell treatments are those utilized for blood-forming hematopoietic stem cells. These treatments are primarily used to treat diseases such as leukemia but cannot be utilized in other organs, tissues, or body parts.

In the United States, treatments for other diseases or illnesses must use stem cell-based therapy. These treatments are based on “digesting” stem cells before introducing them to a patient’s body, genetic engineering, and separation to introduce all of the stem cell parts and information separately.

Stem cell transplants in patients with blood cancers include injecting allogeneic stem cells(healthy stem cells) into the patient’s bloodstream to replace the eliminated pre-existing damaged stem cells. The intended purpose is to prevent deficient cells from continuing to replicate within the patient´s system.

Stem Cells Mexico: Why Choose Mexico for Stem Cell Therapy?

Stem cell therapies are considerably more affordable in Mexico compared to countries like the United States. Mexico’s reputation as a medical tourism destination is rooted in its accessible pricing without compromising quality or professionalism.

Furthermore, Mexico’s healthcare system emphasizes preventive care. This approach means that treatments and procedures are designed to address health issues early on, potentially reducing the need for more extensive and costly interventions in the future, including stem cell and stem cell-based therapies.

Currently, mesenchymal stem cells are the most used stem cells in Mexico. These adult stem cells can be extracted from several different tissues and possess the characteristic of being pluripotent stem cells. They can transform into over 200 different types of specialized cells and can be programmed to correct pre-existing genetic defects and even replace damaged cells.

Our clinics also offer hematopoietic stem cells to patients. These stem cells are used for blood-related diseases and can mature into any blood cell type.

Stem Cell Therapies in Mexico: A Specialized ApproachWhatsApp Image 2024 09 27 at 10.52.04 AM

Stem cell therapies in Mexico are focused on four key areas:

  1. Regenerative Joint Therapy: This stem cell therapy aims to aid the body in repairing and regenerating tissues damaged by accidents or injuries. Many patients report a significant reduction in pain following stem cell treatments.
  2. Autoimmune Disease Treatment: Stem cells can treat autoimmune diseases, including respiratory and other immune diseases. In these cases, the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells and tissues.
  3. Orthopedic Applications: Stem cell therapies are increasingly utilized in orthopedics to accelerate tissue healing and improve tissue quality.
  4. Metabolic Disorder Treatment: Stem cell therapies show promise in treating diseases such as diabetes. Studies have demonstrated advancements in using pluripotent stem cells to replace deficient cells and restore insulin production.

Rejuvenation Therapy: In addition to treating specific conditions, stem cell therapies can rejuvenate the body by revitalizing preexisting stem cells, which naturally decline in function over time.

Mexico has a predominantly preventive medical system that promotes, protects, and preserves health even before disease symptoms are perceptible.Stem cells can be used as part of preventive medicine in Mexico and have been regulated and licensed for quite some time. COFEPRIS, unlike the FDA, does not restrict stem cell treatment solely to patients who already show advanced symptoms of blood cancer. This allows doctors to treat patients and help them aspire to a better overall quality of life.

In Mexico, there is not only a legal, investigative, and preventive opening for stem cell treatments, but they are also not subject to medical insurance approval. Stem cell shots and treatments are substantially lower in Mexico compared to countries where healthcare is primarily delivered through insurance companies. Patients can access more stem cells under legally controlled treatments at much more affordable costs.
